"content_markdown": "## Is there an ACMP-recognised AI change management certification?\n\nNo: the ACMP awards two credentials, the CCMP® and the MCMP™, and neither carries an AI label. Courses on AI change management exist, some of them are ACMP Qualified Education Provider™ (QEP™) courses, and they give a [certificate of completion](https://leanova-academy.com/certificate-vs-certification/) and training hours.\n\nThat distinction decides how to read every title you will meet. A “certification” sold by a training company is proof that you finished its programme, sometimes with an assessment of its own. A certification from the ACMP follows its [eligibility rules](https://www.acmpglobal.org/page/ccmp-who-can-apply) and its proctored exam. The [QEP programme](https://www.acmpglobal.org/page/qep) qualifies courses against the Standard for Change Management©, and the public registry lets you filter by hours, language and provider.\n\nOur own reading is that the AI courses are best used as the training layer of a career built on the CCMP, or as the 10 hours of training that sit among the MCMP’s requirements on the [MCMP page](https://www.acmpglobal.org/page/mcmp). How a given course fits those hours is for the ACMP to judge, and the registry shows the hours it recorded.\n\n **The short answer**\n\nAI change management is a subject taught inside the existing credentials. On 7 October 2026 the route to an ACMP-awarded credential still goes through the CCMP, then the MCMP.\n\n## AI change management courses on offer on 7 October 2026\n\nWe found four named offers with a stated price or hours on 7 October 2026. They are the Leanova LCeX™ pathway, the Leanova MCMP™ course on AI change management, Kotter’s “Leading Change in the Era of AI” and a Coursera course on generative AI. The table gives what each provider’s page states. This site follows Leanova Academy, an official ACMP QEP, so you should weigh its entries with that in mind.\n\n| Course | Provider | Price on 7 October 2026 | Hours and format |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| LCeX-Essentials™ AI Change Management Foundational Certification | Leanova Academy | US$195 | 5 QEP hours (Q000654), online |\n| LCeX-Specialist™ Applied AI Change Management Certification | Leanova Academy | +US$295 (list US$500) | 8 QEP hours (Q000656) |\n| LCeX-Master™ | Leanova Academy | +US$395 | 10 QEP hours (Q000655) |\n| MCMP™ AI Change Management Course | Leanova Academy | US$395 (list US$665) | 10 hours self-paced QEP (Q000655), 1-year access |\n| Leading Change in the Era of AI | Kotter | US$595 | One course of the Kotter Change Certified path |\n| Change Management for Generative AI | Coursera | Not read | University not read |\n\nThe Kotter site describes Kotter Change Certified as a six-course path of about 30 to 35 hours, to complete within 12 months; the AI course is one of those courses. We could not read the university or the price behind the Coursera title, so we only name it. Check the provider’s page before you plan around it.\n\n## The LCeX pathway: three steps of 5, 8 and 10 QEP hours\n\nThe Leanova LCeX pathway has three steps of 5, 8 and 10 QEP hours, and it costs US$195 plus US$295 plus US$395, US$885 in total on 7 October 2026. The pathway page describes each level as including the previous content. The first step is the [LCeX-Essentials](https://www.leanovaacademy.com/link/MVR50Q?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.leanovaacademy.com%2Fcourse%2Fchange-management-certification-lcex-essentials) course, with 5 QEP hours (code Q000654). Essentials and Specialist are listed in the ACMP QEP registry as QEP Self-Paced/Blended (seen 7 October 2026).\n\nSpecialist then adds an applied level, and Master the final one; the full structure is on the [LCeX pathway page](https://www.leanovaacademy.com/link/MVR50Q?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.leanovaacademy.com%2Fchange-management-certification-pathway-lcex). A reduced-price Global Access programme sets 30 % lower prices for eligible countries: US$135, US$205 and US$275 for the three steps. An instructor-led Master option costs US$995 for a private cohort on request. Our article on the [LCeX pathway explained](https://leanova-academy.com/lcex-pathway-explained/) goes through the content step by step.\n\nThe result of each step is a certificate of completion from Leanova, and the LCeX™ titles belong to Leanova alone. They are not ACMP credentials, and Leanova does not award the CCMP or the MCMP.\n\n **Cost of the three steps**\n\nEssentials US$195, Specialist +US$295, Master +US$395: US$885 for the three steps on 7 October 2026. With Global Access (US$135, US$205, US$275) the total would be US$615.\n\n## Where the MCMP course on AI fits\n\nThe MCMP is the top ACMP credential, and its route requires an active CCMP, 8,400 hours of experience, 10 new training hours and at least 6 hours of mentorship. All of it falls within the ten years before applying. Fees are US$655 for members and US$855 for non-members on 7 October 2026.\n\nLeanova’s [MCMP AI Change Management Course](https://www.leanovaacademy.com/link/MVR50Q?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.leanovaacademy.com%2Fcourse%2Fmcmp-acmp-10-hour-master-certification-training) is a 10-hour self-paced QEP course (code Q000655) at US$395. It matches the length of the training item and treats AI as its subject matter. Candidates who stay on the practitioner side first should read our page on the [practitioner track from CCMP to MCMP](https://leanova-academy.com/change-practitioner-track-ccmp-mcmp/), since the MCMP cannot be applied for without an active CCMP.\n\n **The MCMP’s ten-year window**\n\nExperience, training and mentorship hours must all fall within the 10 years before the application. If your CCMP lapses, the MCMP expires with it.\n\n## Choosing a route by profile: CCMP, then an AI course, then the MCMP\n\nFor a first credential, the sequence we recommend is the CCMP, then an AI course, then the MCMP once the experience hours exist. The ordering follows the ACMP’s own rules, since the MCMP requires an active CCMP, and AI skills are easier to place on a base of the Standard.\n\nTake Claire Morel, a fictional HR project lead with six years in digital rollouts. She already has the experience hours for the CCMP and no training certificate. A 21-hour QEP course is her first purchase, because the application requires it. An AI course at 5 hours would not cover that requirement alone, so it comes second, as a way to apply the Standard to the copilots her employer is now deploying.\n\nA second fictional profile, Tomás Reyes, has held the CCMP for four years and leads an AI programme. He can go straight to a 10-hour course on AI change management, and he logs the hours toward his 60 renewal PDUs and, later, his MCMP file. His reading of the registry matters more than the course title, since the ACMP decides how hours are recorded.\n\n## Why adoption platforms are tools and sit outside the credentials\n\nWalkMe, Whatfix, Moveworks, Pandatron and Howspace are software for guiding users, answering questions or running engagement, so none of them is a credential. A practitioner uses them to carry out a plan, and the Standard’s process groups still decide what the plan contains.\n\nWe have not evaluated these products and make no claim about them. Their relation to training is simple: you learn the practice in a course, then you pick a tool that serves it. Our article on [AI adoption tools compared with certification](https://leanova-academy.com/ai-adoption-tools-vs-certification/) sets out that division. For the background on the subject itself, see [what AI change management is](https://leanova-academy.com/ai-change-management-what-it-is/).\n\n **A selection method**\n\nCheck the QEP status and the hours in the registry, then the price and the access period, then the content. Skip any title that promises an ACMP credential at the end of a course.\n\n[faq groupe=\"ai\"]\n\n **Further reading on Leanova Academy’s blog**\n\n- [AI Change Management Certifications, Compared by Category](https://www.leanovaacademy.com/blog/ai-change-management-certifications-compared)\n- [Choosing AI Change Management Training for a Program](https://www.leanovaacademy.com/link/MVR50Q?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.leanovaacademy.com%2Fblog%2Fchoosing-ai-change-management-training)\n- [AI Change Management: Seven Competencies to Build in 2026](https://www.leanovaacademy.com/link/MVR50Q?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.leanovaacademy.com%2Fblog%2Fai-change-management-competencies)\n\n **Course mentioned in this article**\n\n[LCeX™ AI change management pathway (Essentials, Specialist, Master)](https://www.leanovaacademy.com/link/MVR50Q?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.leanovaacademy.com%2Fchange-management-certification-pathway-lcex) at Leanova Academy, official ACMP® QEP™.
