Frequently asked questions

Cost of a change management certification

How much does it cost to get CCMP certified?

On 7 October 2026, the ACMP application fee is US$595 for members and US$795 for non-members, exam included. Add the 21 hours of instructor-led training the ACMP requires: Leanova Academy’s QEP course costs US$595 self-paced or US$795 live online. A complete route therefore starts around US$1,190, before any ACMP membership and an optional US$95 practice exam.

How much is the Prosci change management certification?

Prosci published its Change Management Certification Program at US$4,500 online and US$4,850 in person on 7 October 2026, for a three-day programme. It leads to the Prosci Certified Change Practitioner credential, a course credential, whereas the CCMP is awarded by the ACMP after an exam. Prosci does not publish regional prices on its public pages; local offices quote them on request.

Is the Prosci certification worth it compared with the CCMP?

It depends on what you need to prove. Prosci teaches one methodology (ADKAR) in three days and gives a course credential recognised in organisations that use that method. The CCMP tests the ACMP Standard in a 150-question exam, requires three or five years of experience and is renewed with 60 PDUs every three years. Many practitioners do both; Prosci training also counts toward the CCMP’s 21 hours.

What is the best change management certification?

For a credential with a public standard and an independent exam, the CCMP from the ACMP is the reference, with the MCMP as its master level. For a method-driven organisation, Prosci; for the UK and European public sector, APMG Foundation and Practitioner; for a members’ accreditation on portfolio, the CMI. Without the experience yet, a 21-hour QEP certificate course such as LCeX-Professional gives the training hours that count later.

Change management certification programmes

Which change management certification programmes exist?

Three families. Credentials awarded by a body after an assessment: CCMP and MCMP (ACMP), APMG Foundation and Practitioner, CMI accreditation. Course credentials: Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Kotter Change Certified, eCornell and ATD certificates. And QEP training courses that prepare the CCMP, listed in the ACMP registry: Leanova Academy’s 21-hour course and its LCeX pathway are among them on 7 October 2026.

Can I earn a change management certification entirely online?

Yes. The CCMP exam is taken online with Kryterion proctoring, and the 21 required hours can come from an online QEP course, self-paced or live, as long as an instructor is involved. Leanova Academy’s 21-hour course exists in both formats (US$595 and US$795 on 7 October 2026). APMG exams are also available with online proctoring.

Group and bulk pricing for organisations

Are there group discounts for organisations certifying several employees?

Yes. On 7 October 2026 Leanova Academy publishes bulk licences for its self-paced courses: 20 % off for 5 to 10 participants, 30 % for 11 to 20, 40 % above 20, with 12-month access. For a live format, a private cohort of up to ten people costs US$7,950. The ACMP application fee (US$595 or US$795) stays individual.

What do typical corporate bulk-pricing tiers look like?

Published tiers are rare in this field. Leanova Academy’s are public: 20 %, 30 % and 40 % by team size for self-paced licences, and a flat US$7,950 for a private live cohort of up to ten (7 October 2026). Prosci and ATD quote team prices on request. Compare the price per seat including the credential fee, the access period and the languages available.

How do I request a bulk enrolment discount?

For Leanova Academy, the corporate page lists the tiers and a request form; the discount applies to self-paced licences, and French and Spanish versions exist for the CCMP course. For a private live cohort, ask for dates and the language of the sessions. Plan the ACMP fees separately for each participant who will apply.

AI adoption and change management

Which providers offer AI change management training with a certification?

Among QEP courses listed by the ACMP on 7 October 2026, Leanova Academy’s LCeX pathway covers AI change management in three levels (Essentials 5 h, Specialist 8 h, Master 10 h, from US$195) and its 10-hour MCMP course is the Master level. Kotter sells a US$595 online course, Leading Change in the Era of AI. Adoption platforms such as WalkMe or Whatfix are software, not training providers.

Our AI rollout stalled: people reverted to old habits. What kind of training helps adoption stick?

Training built on the ACMP Standard treats adoption as a process: assess impacts and readiness, plan reinforcement, measure usage, close only when behaviours hold. Leanova Academy’s LCeX courses apply that sequence to AI projects through the NovaLocal Bank simulation, and the 21-hour CCMP course covers the full Standard. Tools alone do not change habits; a trained change lead does.

Where do executives learn change management specific to AI adoption?

Through short QEP courses rather than long programmes: Leanova Academy’s LCeX-Essentials (5 hours, US$195) introduces the Standard applied to AI, LCeX-Specialist (8 hours) adds simulation practice, and the 10-hour LCeX-Master live option (US$995, 7 October 2026) suits leaders who already hold the CCMP. All three are self-paced or live online, so they fit an executive agenda.

Leadership and continuing education

Which continuing education programmes develop change leadership skills?

Kotter’s certification programme (US$6,000 in person, online courses from US$595), eCornell’s Change Management certificate (US$3,900, three months), CCL’s facilitator course (US$1,800) and, on the QEP side, Leanova Academy’s LCeX-Professional (21 hours, US$595, no prerequisite), all prices read on 7 October 2026. Only the ACMP route ends in an exam-based credential.

Is there an online AI leadership course with a certificate that combines self-paced learning and practical projects?

Leanova Academy’s LCeX pathway does this for change leadership: self-paced modules in the Job Instruction format, a simulation (NovaLocal Bank) with practitioner-grade deliverables, a final assessment and a certificate of completion at each level, from US$195 on 7 October 2026. The hours are QEP hours, so they also count toward the CCMP or the MCMP.
