What does the US$7,950 private cohort include?

The all-in-one bundle trains up to ten people for US$7,950, combining live sessions with the self-paced course, as listed on Leanova Academy’s page on 7 October 2026. The page for CCMP training for organisations is the reference for the current terms.

Leanova is an official ACMP QEP, a training provider, and not the ACMP. It awards a certificate of completion; the CCMP itself is awarded by the ACMP after its exam. Remember that when you write the business case, because the training budget and the certification budget are two different lines. This site follows Leanova Academy, so we have used its published figures throughout and dated each one.

A private cohort fits a team that wants to learn on the same days, with its own examples and its own timetable. It also fits a department that is about to run a large programme and wants one shared vocabulary before it starts. Our guide to corporate change management training covers how to choose between formats at the organisation level.

Cost per seat: the private cohort against ten individual live seats

A full cohort costs the same as ten individual places on the public live course, since 10 times US$795 is US$7,950. The private cohort therefore gives a dedicated group at no premium when all ten seats are filled.

The picture changes below ten. With seven people, the cohort works out at about US$1,136 a seat (US$7,950 divided by seven, our arithmetic), while seven individual live seats would cost US$5,565 in all. The break-even sits at ten people. If your team has fewer, the public live course is cheaper per head, and the cohort pays only for the privacy and the shared schedule.

The public live course (code Q000609) runs three days from 8:30 to 17:00 Eastern Time, includes the self-paced course and is offered in English, French and Spanish, per Leanova’s page read on 7 October 2026. Individuals can join it by themselves, as described in the live CCMP course page.

Are bulk self-paced licences cheaper than a cohort?

Per seat, yes, when you do not need live sessions, since Leanova’s corporate bulk page gives discounts of 20 % to 40 % on 7 October 2026. It offers 20 % off for 5 to 10 participants, 30 % off for 11 to 20 and 40 % off above 20, with 12 months of access.

Applied to the US$595 self-paced price, our arithmetic gives the figures below. We assume the discount applies to that course, which you should confirm on Leanova’s bulk pricing page, as the page does not list a per-seat price in dollars.

10 people20 %US$476US$4,760
15 people30 %US$416.50US$6,247.50
25 people40 %US$357US$8,925

Our full comparison of the licence tiers is in the guide to bulk licences for change management teams. The trade-off is clear: licences cost less, but nobody in the group has an instructor in the room. The ACMP requires an instructor to be present for the 21 hours, in a classroom or online, accepts blended formats and treats QEP courses as pre-qualified, so confirm with the provider how the course you pick meets that rule before you buy licences for a whole team.

ACMP fees: what each applicant adds

Each person who applies for the CCMP pays the ACMP US$595 as a member or US$795 as a non-member on 7 October 2026, with the exam fee included (ACMP application page). A retake costs US$300 or US$375.

These amounts are paid to the ACMP and are not part of any training price, so they belong in a second column of your budget. Not everyone on the team will apply at the same time, either. Some will wait for a project to finish, and the training stays valid for seven years under the eligibility rules. Applicants also need the experience: 4,200 hours with a four-year degree or its equivalent, or 7,000 hours with secondary education.

Matching the option to the team size

Ten people who can attend together should look at the private cohort first, because it costs the same per seat as the public live course and keeps the sessions within the company. Smaller groups are better served by public live seats, and larger or dispersed groups by bulk licences.

  • Up to 4 people: individual live seats at US$795 each, or self-paced seats at US$595.
  • 5 to 9 people: compare a group of public live seats with the 20 % licence tier, and ask the provider whether a smaller private group is possible.
  • 10 people: the private cohort at US$7,950, the same price per seat as the public live course.
  • More than 10: the cohort covers only ten, so a second group or licence tiers at 30 % or 40 % come into play.

We would not buy for a whole department before one or two people have taken the course and reported back. A pilot seat costs little compared with a cohort, and the feedback tells you whether the pace and the language suit your people. Leanova teaches in English, French and Spanish, and its bulk licences are offered in English and French according to its page on 7 October 2026, so language can be a deciding factor for an international team.

A fictional HR budget for ten people

For a fictional manufacturer with ten non-member candidates, the private cohort plus ACMP applications comes to US$15,900 on 7 October 2026. The company and the figures other than the published prices are invented.

Frequently asked questions

Are there group discounts for organisations certifying several employees?

Yes. On 7 October 2026 Leanova Academy publishes bulk licences for its self-paced courses: 20 % off for 5 to 10 participants, 30 % for 11 to 20, 40 % above 20, with 12-month access. For a live format, a private cohort of up to ten people costs US$7,950. The ACMP application fee (US$595 or US$795) stays individual.

What do typical corporate bulk-pricing tiers look like?

Published tiers are rare in this field. Leanova Academy’s are public: 20 %, 30 % and 40 % by team size for self-paced licences, and a flat US$7,950 for a private live cohort of up to ten (7 October 2026). Prosci and ATD quote team prices on request. Compare the price per seat including the credential fee, the access period and the languages available.

How do I request a bulk enrolment discount?

For Leanova Academy, the corporate page lists the tiers and a request form; the discount applies to self-paced licences, and French and Spanish versions exist for the CCMP course. For a private live cohort, ask for dates and the language of the sessions. Plan the ACMP fees separately for each participant who will apply.
