The MCMP live course: content and cost
It is a 10-hour instructor-led course for the ACMP’s Master Certified Change Management Professional credential, priced at US$995 on 7 October 2026 against a list price of US$1,495.
This site follows Leanova Academy, an official ACMP QEP, and the course is described on the MCMP live course page. Dates are given on request, so there is no public calendar to quote. Leanova is a training provider: the MCMP is awarded by the ACMP, not by the course. What you receive from Leanova is a certificate of completion and the hours.
The ACMP fee for the credential itself comes on top: US$655 for members and US$855 for non-members, as published on the ACMP MCMP page on 7 October 2026. The MCMP is valid for three years, and renewal needs 15 PDUs, six of them in mentorship.
Who can apply for the MCMP after the course?
Only someone with an active CCMP, since the ACMP requires it before anything else, along with 8,400 hours of experience and the training and mentorship hours described below.
All of it must fall within the ten years before you apply. The list on the ACMP page is short: an active CCMP, 8,400 hours of experience, 10 hours of change management training that differ from the training you submitted for the CCMP, and at least six hours of mentorship engagement as a mentor, aligned with the Standard. The ACMP does not publish the exam format or languages for the MCMP on that page, so we write nothing about them.
If your CCMP lapses, the MCMP lapses with it. A reader who has just passed the CCMP and is thinking of the live course should first look at the experience count: 8,400 hours is double the 4,200 hours needed for a CCMP on the degree route.
Meeting the rule of 10 different hours
It supplies 10 hours of training, which is the volume the ACMP asks for, provided the hours are not the same as those you submitted for your CCMP.
That last condition is where applicants slip. The 21 hours of your CCMP course cannot be reused. A learner who took the 21-hour live CCMP prep in 2024 and now books the MCMP live course has two distinct bodies of training, which is what the rule asks for. A learner who bought a 31-hour bundle covering both needs to check which 10 hours were assigned to which application.
Leanova’s 10-hour MCMP course and LCeX-Master are the same QEP course, code Q000655. The ACMP registry titles it “For MCMP™ Candidates Advancing Toward Global Distinction (10-Hour): Master (LCeX-M™)” and lists two settings, Self-Paced/Blended and Live Online (English, Spanish and French). It has 22 deliverables from the NovaLocal Bank simulation and ends with a certificate plus the post-nominal LCeX-M™, seen on 7 October 2026. A QEP course is pre-qualified. For any course that is not a QEP one, the ACMP wants the objectives, outline, dates and duration, documented in English.
Mentorship hours: the part a course does not cover
No: the six hours of mentorship are work you do as a mentor, aligned with the Standard, and a course of 10 training hours does not replace them.
The ACMP lists the mentorship as a separate requirement, and renewal also asks for six mentorship PDUs among the 15. Plan for them early. A fictional example: Lucía, a CCMP holder in a bank in Madrid, takes the live course in November, then agrees with two junior colleagues to meet every two weeks until she has documented her six hours. Each session is logged against the Standard’s process groups. She applies once the log is complete.
We cannot say how the ACMP evaluates the log, since the page gives no detail. The prudent approach is to keep dates, names, duration and the topic of each session from the first meeting.
Where AI change management fits in a 10-hour MCMP course
Leanova’s MCMP courses carry “AI Change Management” in their titles, so AI is part of their scope, and the live page is the place to confirm the outline before you book.
AI questions can come up in Master-level practice: who owns the adoption of a tool, how a change plan handles staff who fear automation, what a mentor tells a junior practitioner who wants to draft a change impact assessment with a chatbot. We would not claim the ACMP tests any of it, because the MCMP exam format is not published. What we can say is that the course is 10 hours of training the ACMP accepts as the training requirement when the course is a QEP one.
Ask for the outline in writing and keep it with your certificate of completion. If the ACMP ever queries the hours, a dated outline and the instructor’s name are the documents you will want. The same applies at renewal: the three-year cycle needs 15 PDUs, six of them in mentorship, so the paperwork habit pays twice.
Live or self-paced: which one to take?
Take the live course if you want a fixed schedule and an instructor to question, and the self-paced course if you want the lower price of US$395 and one year of access.
| Point | Live course | Self-paced course |
|---|---|---|
| Price on 7 October 2026 | US$995 (list US$1,495) | US$395 (list US$665) |
| Hours | 10, QEP code Q000655 | 10, QEP code Q000655 |
| Format | Instructor-led, dates on request | Online, one year of access |
| Language | English, Spanish, French | English with subtitles |
The self-paced route is the self-paced MCMP course. It is the cheaper option by US$600. For a group of colleagues who want to discuss mentorship cases together, the live format may justify the price gap.
