Live online change management training in 2026: pick a cohort from US$795

Which live online change management courses exist in 2026?

Seven options stand out on official pages read on 7 October 2026, from Leanova’s live cohorts to Kotter’s online courses. They are Leanova Academy’s CCMP® live, MCMP™ live and LCeX-Master™ cohorts, jTask’s virtual CCMP course, Prosci online, ATD live online, and Kotter’s online courses, whose live status its pages do not state.

This site follows Leanova Academy, an official ACMP® QEP™, so its courses come first in the table. The others are listed with the facts their own pages publish, in their own currency. Hours matter because the ACMP® asks for 21 hours of training aligned with the Standard for Change Management©, with an instructor present, in the classroom or online (ACMP® training FAQ, read on 7 October 2026).

The three-day CCMP® cohort: cost and content

Leanova’s CCMP® Exam Prep Live Online costs US$795 on 7 October 2026, covers 21 QEP™ hours, and runs over three live days from 8:30 to 17:00 Eastern Time.

It is delivered on Teams or Google Meet, includes the self-paced course, and is taught in English, with French and Spanish also available. Leanova offers a 14-day money-back guarantee, and its Trustpilot score was 4.7 out of 5 from 39 reviews on that date. The ACMP® application fee is separate: US$595 for members and US$795 for non-members, exam included. We describe the day-to-day rhythm of such a cohort in what a live CCMP® cohort looks like.

Time zone is the first practical filter. Eastern Time 8:30 to 17:00 is a working day in Toronto and an afternoon and evening session in much of Europe, so check the three days against your calendar before registering.

Does a live course beat a self-paced one for the CCMP®?

Both can count, because the ACMP® accepts online instructor-led training and blended formats, so the 21 hours can come from either, provided an instructor is involved.

Self-paced versions suit people with unpredictable schedules, and Leanova’s own is US$595 for the same 21 hours. Live cohorts add a fixed calendar, questions answered in the moment and other participants’ cases. The MCMP™ live course comes after the CCMP®

It fits after the CCMP®, because the ACMP® requires an active CCMP® first, then 8,400 hours of experience, 10 hours of training separate from the CCMP® training and at least 6 hours of mentoring. All of it falls within the ten years before applying.

Leanova’s MCMP™ Live Course is 10 hours at US$995 (list US$1,495) on 7 October 2026, with dates on request through the course page. Prosci, ATD, jTask and Kotter compared: four different offers

Each sells a different thing: Prosci trains in its own methodology, ATD offers a 14-hour certificate, jTask a QEP™ CCMP® course, and Kotter a path of courses. Among these, only jTask and Leanova are built around the 21 CCMP® hours.

Prosci’s certification programme is three days online at US$4,500, with the credential “Prosci Certified Change Practitioner”; it includes a workbook, a 90-day membership trial and PDUs, and Prosci is a methodology and training company, not a credential-awarding body. The ATD certificate credits 14 ACMP® instructional hours, which is seven short of 21. jTask’s virtual course is 24 hours, USD 980, with ACMP® exam fees extra. Kotter publishes US$1,100 for its online Foundations of Change and US$595 for Leading Change in the Era of AI, and the full online price of its certified path is not published.

What to ask before you book a live cohort

Ask five questions: how many of the hours are taught by an instructor, which QEP™ code applies, which time zone the sessions use, what is included beyond the sessions, and what the refund terms are.

1. Instructor hours: the ACMP® needs an instructor present, in the classroom or online, so a recorded course with a forum does not qualify as live.
2. Course code: a QEP™ course carries one in the public registry, and the provider should quote it on request.
3. Time zone and dates: cohorts such as Leanova’s three-day CCMP® run in Eastern Time, and the MCMP™ live course sets dates on request.
4. Extras: access to a self-paced course, practice exams, certificate type. Leanova’s CCMP® live includes the self-paced course; its separate practice exam bundle of 450 questions is US$95 on that date.
5. Refunds: Leanova states a 14-day money-back guarantee; ask any other provider for its terms in writing.
