CCMP and MCMP bundles: US$695 to US$1,195, and when a bundle pays off

What do the Confidence, Mastery and Coaching bundles include?

Confidence covers the 21 hours needed for the CCMP, Mastery adds 10 hours for 31 in all, and Coaching adds 2 hours of application coaching to Mastery. All three are self-paced and were offered in English on 7 October 2026.

The hours are the part that matters for the ACMP. Its CCMP application asks for 21 hours of training aligned with the Standard for Change Management©, and the MCMP asks for 10 further hours that differ from the ones submitted for the CCMP. Mastery lines up with that 21 plus 10 arithmetic. This site follows Leanova Academy, an official ACMP® QEP™, and the bundles are listed on its CCMP and MCMP bundles page. Price and hours side by side

The Coaching bundle costs US$500 more than Confidence and US$300 more than Mastery, and the table shows what the difference buys in hours.

Dividing price by hours gives a rough yardstick, computed from the prices of 7 October 2026. Confidence comes to about US$33 per training hour (US$695 for 21 hours), Mastery to about US$29 (US$895 for 31 hours), and the bare course to about US$28 (US$595 for 21 hours). Coaching, counting its 2 coaching hours, is about US$36 per hour across 33 hours. The yardstick is crude, since a coaching hour and a module hour are different things, but it shows that the hours cost less per unit in Mastery than in Confidence.

The CCMP + MCMP bundle and the practice exam on its own

The CCMP® + MCMP™ bundle combines 31 hours of training with 450 practice questions for US$595, listed at US$895, and the practice exam alone costs US$95 for one year of access.

The practice exam contains three mock exams of 150 questions each, the same count as the real CCMP exam, which has 150 multiple-choice questions over three hours according to the ACMP exam preparation page. We describe how to use the mocks in a separate article. What we can say here is practical: if you already hold the 21 hours from another course, the US$95 practice exam is the lighter purchase, and a full bundle repeats hours you have.

When does a bundle pay off?

A bundle pays off when you plan to apply for the MCMP after the CCMP, or when you want support on the application itself. If you only aim for the CCMP, the bare course covers the 21 hours.

The MCMP is not a short step. According to the ACMP MCMP page, it requires an active CCMP, 8,400 hours of experience, 10 hours of training different from the CCMP training and at least 6 hours of mentorship, all within the ten years before applying. Fees were US$655 for members and US$855 for non-members on 7 October 2026. Buying the 10 hours today therefore makes sense only if your experience will reach that level within a few years, since the training must fall inside the ten-year window.

The Coaching bundle suits a different profile: someone who meets the CCMP prerequisites and wants two hours of guidance on documenting experience and filing the application. Experience hours are the part of the application where a second opinion can help. The price difference with Mastery is US$300 for those two hours, so weigh it against what your employer or a mentor can offer for free.

Standalone MCMP courses and renewal hours

Course hours have a second use after certification. The ACMP renewal page says the CCMP is valid three years and renewal takes 60 professional development units, which may come from QEP courses among other sources; the renewal fee is US$100 for members and US$150 for non-members. The MCMP needs 15 PDUs, 6 of them in mentorship. A longer bundle can therefore feed the renewal later, though the ACMP decides how each activity is counted, so check its rules at the time you renew.

Before buying: eligibility, exam fee and the format question

Whatever bundle you pick, you still pay the ACMP separately: the application costs US$595 for members and US$795 for non-members on 7 October 2026, with the exam fee included.

Check your eligibility first. The CCMP requires a four-year degree or equivalent plus 4,200 hours of change management experience, or secondary education plus 7,000 hours, as stated on the ACMP eligibility page. A course does not replace those hours. The training itself must be completed within seven years before you apply.
